API Usage & Data License
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This license is part of our Terms of Service. It sets out exactly what your plan lets you do with predictions, odds, live data and everything else our API and widgets return. If a use is not listed as allowed, assume it needs our written permission.
1. What you are licensed to do
While your subscription or trial is active, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to call the API with your own key and to display the results inside your own website, app, bot or internal tools, up to your plan’s limits.
- Show predictions, probabilities, fixtures and scores to your own end users.
- Build your own products and analysis on top of the responses (for example a tipster site, an app or a research notebook).
- Keep short-lived copies for caching and performance, within the limits in section 4.
2. What is never allowed
- Reselling, sublicensing, sharing or republishing raw API responses, odds or live streams as a data feed, API, file or dataset, whether free or paid.
- Operating a service whose main value is relaying our data (a competing data API, a proxy, a mirror or a white-label feed) without a signed white-label agreement.
- Scraping the website or bulk-downloading the API to build a copy of our data, history or track record.
- Using our data or outputs to train, fine-tune or benchmark a model or product that competes with PredictIQ Pro.
- Putting your API key in front-end code, mobile apps, public repositories or anywhere users can read it. Calls must go through your own server.
- Creating multiple accounts, keys or trials to avoid limits, or sharing one key between unrelated projects or companies.
- Removing or hiding attribution, or implying that we endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with you.
3. Attribution
Free and trial plans must show “Data by PredictIQ Pro”, linked to predictiqpro.com, next to any of our data that appears publicly. Paid plans may remove the line from their own interfaces but may not claim our data or predictions as their own model.
4. Rate limits, caching and storage
- Each plan has a request quota and a per-minute rate limit, shown on the pricing page. Exceeding them returns errors; repeated overuse leads to throttling or suspension.
- Cache responses only as long as the data is useful: live scores and odds no longer than 60 seconds, predictions and fixtures no longer than 24 hours, unless your plan says otherwise.
- Do not build a permanent archive of our responses. Stored copies must be deleted or refreshed when your subscription ends.
- Live data (scores, in-play odds, momentum) is for display to your own users in real time. Do not record it into a redistributable history.
5. Betting and responsible use
- Our outputs are information, not betting advice. Do not describe them as guaranteed, risk-free or certain.
- Do not use our data to target minors, or in places where betting promotion is unlawful.
- You are responsible for obtaining any licenses and complying with advertising rules that apply to you.
6. Third-party and team marks
Some data and images (team names, crests, competition names) belong to third parties and are provided for identification only. Your right to use them is no wider than our own, and may be withdrawn or limited if our upstream rights change.
7. Monitoring and enforcement
We log request metadata (key, endpoint, volume, time and origin) and may inspect usage for breaches. We can throttle, rotate or suspend a key at once, remove content, and end your license without refund for the current period. We may ask you to confirm in writing that stored data has been deleted. If a breach causes us loss, we reserve all legal remedies.
8. Need broader rights?
Redistribution, white-label delivery, higher quotas and custom caching are available under a separate written agreement. Contact support@predictiqpro.com or see white-label.
9. Changes
We may update this license as the service grows. The date above shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it. If an update would remove something you rely on, we will say so on this page.
